My name is Charlie, I'm a mother of one. I'm heading back to work and I'm in need of part-time child care for my 1 year old.
(Hours are pretty much set, on a 2 week rotating schedule, everyday is 7am-4pm).
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday.
Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday.
***No weekends required, however if we require a sitter and could use an extra hand we would offer you the hours first before exploring any other options.
Some light house work involved, but not at the expense of caring for Loïc (pronounced Low-ick). Examples: loading/unloading the dishwasher, washing used bottles separately in the sink, cleaning up after meal times. Some meal prep required for yourself and babes.
As a Registered Nurse I have to be at work quite early and I do not have the luxury to be late, therefore, someone who can arrive promptly on time is very important.
Bonus qualities were looking for is someone who is musically inclined, multilingual would be wonderful but ultimately someone who wants to engage in active play and learning with babes is our ideal candidate.
*** We also have a small teacup chihuahua at home. Very small and gentle, plays a lot of babes, does not require walking, easy to manage.
Currently part-time hours available, but that's not to say that as babes grows we won't need someone more full-time.
If you're interested please send me a copy of your resume/references. I'd love to check it out.
The main role of a nanny is to provide a safe, caring, nurturing and stimulating environment in which the children thrive and develop. General responsibilities include undertaking tasks related to the children’s care which evolve as kids grow. Attentive, high quality childcare includes planning the children’s daily schedule, play and development activities appropriate to the child's age. In addition typically nannies are responsible for meal preparation for the kids, and keeping the children’s areas neat and tidy.
Being a nanny means becoming a member of a household. Communicating with the family and clarifying their expectations is one of the most important aspects. No family is the same, and following their lead is key in succeeding through the interview and hiring process.
A few important things to know:
