a single daughter that just turned 1 on July 22nd.

  • Job Description

My daughter will be turning 14 months on Sept. 22nd. She is bright, happy and not shy towards others.
I am trying to work on some on-line courses but find it difficult to get any undisrupted time and do not like her witnessing us on technology (too much). Neither my partner nor I have any relatives in the area so we are looking for a flexible sitter that loves infants and can offer a few hours during the daytime and the occasional evening for us to get out on a date night.
She is in diapers so I am looking for a reliable sitter that loves snuggles and enjoys play time:)
We have two friendly dogs, one big and one small. We have built a brand new home and live in Oyama - Lake Country.

  • Important Information

Occasional child care requires a specific mindset. It's being comfortable and confident to step in and help a family from time to time and manage the adjustment particularly younger kids face to parents not being around.

Its important to create a safe, caring, nurturing and stimulating experience. A great babysitter from the kids perspective is someone who is fun, loves to play, sing, run and do creative projects. For a parent, it's all of the above, but also meal preparation for the kids, keeping the children’s areas neat and tidy, helping older kids with homework and being able to respect rules around discipline, nap/bed time and process.

A few important things to know:
