Hi there. My name is Melanie. I am currently enrolled in the Linguistics and French Studies program at Glendon, the French Campus of York University. My love for children and passion for learning more about them has allowed me to work in diverse environments. as well as to care for children where they are most comfortable, in their homes. I also spent 2 years in the Early Childhood Education Program at George Brown College, giving me not only theoretical knowledge about a child's development but most importantly, practical experience. Having had the opportunity to care for young children from different age groups and diverse backgrounds, communicate with their families, and other early childhood educators has served to help me build a strong foundation for caring for children and understanding their development and building loving and worthy relationships. What I want most is to reach out to others, not just with my hands, but with my heart, and what better way to realize this than with children and their families.
