Hi! My name is Émilie!

I reside in Vancouver and am available for occasional babysitting!

I have lots of experience working with and around children in a variety of environments, both locally and internationally.

In addition to regular babysitting throughout high school and college, in 2017, I worked as a nanny for 6 months with a 17 month old. In 2018-19, I worked at a local francophone elementary school as an educator at an after school program. Currently, I work as a part time nurse at a local hospital.

I am trained and up to date in both standard first aid, as well as level-HCP (Health Care Professional) CPR. I am also fully bilingual in French & English!

What you can expect from me:
- Excellent, enthusiastic, caring, & individualized child-care for children of any ages!
- Facilitation of and engagement in play and learning activities with children including crafts, games, outside play, music, and homework.
- I am happy to run errands, such as grocery shopping and help with the children's laundry, if time allows.
- I am happy to drive your children & take them to appointments, classes, or school, including pick-up.
- I am happy to use public transit or drive with your children, if needed.
- I am also happy to take your children to activities that we can do together outside of the home such as the park, visiting a local swimming pool, or farm.

- Early morning or late night childcare available

My expectations:
- Reliable family that values my time and commitment to them
- Expectations clearly discussed
- My purpose and priority is to care for your children. That said, I am looking for a position that is strictly childcare, and will not consider any positions involving additional housekeeping, cooking, or cleaning duties that are outside the scope and priority of caring for your children.
- Compensation if driving is required while on the job, using my vehicle.

Wage:
- $20/hr for 1 child, and an additional $10/hr per extra child.
