I have been babysitting children between the ages of 3 and 12 years old for years while also balancing university classes and sometimes retail work. Often, I look after 2 or 3 siblings and the family pets, ensuring they all feel safe and are having fun.

Since I am training to be an elementary school teacher, I believe in interacting with children and being a good role model - the TV is no replacement for social and physical activity. I'm often seen right in the middle of a play area with the children, drawing, singing, playing with dolls, holding up block towers, and sometimes a combination of them when two different activities are going on.
