I've always enjoyed being around children and knew that I wanted a career working with kids. In the fall of 2007 I embarked on my journey to becoming an educator. I obtained my certificate (level II) in Early Childhood Education in June 2008. Since then I have had the opportunity to work in both small and large centres, in addition to running my own day home. I have been married for 4 years now to my wonderful husband and we have a beautiful one and half year old daughter. We enjoy going for family walks to the nearby park, playing in the backyard and on rainy days just having family time indoors, whether it be playing games with our daughter or watching an age appropriate movie for the whole family. I enjoy reading, drawing, singing, and relaxing with my family.
