    I was on the Dean's list for honours this year from the U of C! I am working towards my bachelor of Education degree, I will graduate in 2018. I have a degree in Canadian studies and love learning about Canada. I have received a volunteer of the year award from the Alberta Teachers Association for my years of volunteering at an elementary school. I am a mentor through Big Brothers Big Sisters for a youth in care. I have two children of my own 10 and 13 as well I have been a nanny and babysat for many others. I am a strong supporter of attachment and building relationships; connecting must come before correcting! I am an avid reader and love to read about child development. I like spending time outdoors, and cooking and baking; I can cook for food allergies. I am very patient and empathetic and love to have fun! I have experience working with children with ADHD and behaviour challenges. I am looking for part time/casual work and can be flexible with days and times :)

      Alisha is so kind and thoughtful with everyone she meets. I moved to Calgary with no friends and we met when our children went to preschool together. Throughout the years she's helped me with my children when I've needed it most and I trust her 100%
