    INTRODUCTION:
The ability to connect and relate to people comes easily to me. I am just as comfortable working with newborns as I am with primary school aged children. I'm a warm, affectionate, empathetic and patient person who loves to spend time with little munchkins. I enjoy going on mini adventures with children such as the library, the Biodome, museums, restaurants, the park etc... I also quite enjoy craft making. I would love the opportunity to care for your child(ren) and to learn together.

    EXPERIENCE:
I'm currently caring for my own baby at home. I used to work as a resource teacher and substitute teacher at an elementary school. I graduated from Concordia University with a bachelor's in the Early Childhood and Elementary Education program. I worked as a nanny and at a daycare while I completed my bachelor's degree. I most often worked in the infant groups and toddler groups. I have grown quite fond of those ages, though I am comfortable with children of all ages. I have experience as a nanny working with twins. I was their live-out nanny for 3 years until I began my full-time studies. I also worked as nanny for newborns on two different occasions, the youngest was 4 weeks old. I have experience being involved at a local elementary school in the homework program. In previous years, I worked at a few day camps during my summers, I coordinated activities and ensured the safety of all children. I love to build lasting relationships with the children I meet so that they know that I am there for them and that they are loved. I have CPR and first aid training!

    ABOUT ME:
I'm a caring, loving, sensitive and responsible person. I'm easy going and get along with a wide range of people. I'm calm but still love to have fun! I love to travel and see the world, I feel as though traveling experiences create opportunities to understand diversity and become more open-minded. I'm social, I enjoy getting to know people. I also love animals, dogs, cats, horses, whales, orcas, gorillas, chimpanzees, you name it! I grew up taking care of my two little brothers, I am 6 and 8 years older than them. I always enjoyed helping them to grow and develop into the wonderful young men they are today. I love to cook vegetarian, vegan and other healthy foods.

    SCHEDULE:
I live in the South Shore of Montreal. Please contact me for specifics.

    FUN ANECDOTE:
My first official babysitting job was at the age of 12 taking care of a six-month-old baby boy. I watched him at least once a week. A couple of years later, his baby sister joined the world. We would go for walks, read books, make crafts, play games, and dance together! We had an inside joke about manners when we ate meals, we would say that we couldn't eat like piggies because the piggy man would come and turn us into piggies!!! We laughed a lot about that. One day when I came to babysit, the little girl had made piggy ears out of her headband with construction paper and tape as joke, to say she hadn't been eating with manners so the piggy man paid her a visit! I became very close with the family for years to come. Now, the children have grown-up! It's lovely to have been able to see their development throughout the years. I feel so lucky to have stumbled upon this loving family who gave me a chance at such a young age! I recently stayed with the two teens while their parents were away for a long weekend!
