Summer 2017 I worked as a full time nanny for a family with 3 year old twins and a 7 year old. Most recently I have worked for a family with a newborn and a 2 year old. With both jobs I was responsible for picking kids up from school, preparing/cooking meals, cleaning, laundry, entertaining the children, etc. As well, I have babysat for numerous children for quite a number of years on an as needed basis. I assisted coaches in teaching young children how to skate for a few years when I was in figure skating. I currently reside in Edmonton, Alberta and am new to the area. I have completed two years in the Okanagan at the University of British Columbia in the BSN program with 2 previous years of post- secondary schooling. I have over 200 applied clinical hours from my first and second year of nursing school at a residential care facility and acute care hospital settings. I have relevant CPR- C and first aid training that is renewed every few years. I enjoy working with people and caring for them and I especially love being around kids and looking after them. I love anything outdoors (being on the beach, boating, snowboarding, hiking, etc.) and I have a huge spot in my heart for dogs.
