Current student at Centennial College studying Office Administration. During my previous years in high school, I had some achievements that made me proud and more determined than ever. Throughout my 4 years, I had perfect attendance (I still have that award hanging). It was my first ever award despite that students in school would call in sick, or skip classes. I also had played for my high school's soccer team in my senior years and played a season in college as well. Well, enough about my education and more about me personally! Outside of school, I volunteered at the Scarborough YMCA, working with all different kinds of people. I worked with seniors, young adults, teenagers and little children. Now why did I do that? I wanted to give back to the community. For the children and teenagers, I didn't want them to look at me just like I was another volunteer, I wanted them to feel comfortable and be their mentor, their friend that they can talk to. Unfortunately my journey with the YMCA all fell apart when college started, I couldn't visit the YMCA much, soccer was hitting me up and so was school work. I still keep tabs on the YMCA every now and then. Currently I work at a hotel and my schedule can be kind of messy (I'll admit that), but that doesn't stop me from doing my best to make time to babysit. I look forward to hearing from you all.
