My name is Lyndsy, I am twenty two years of age and would love the opportunity to be a nanny for a child/a few children this summer. Back when I was at the age of eleven, I began to provide after school care to my neighbor's daughter, and continued to do so daily. until I moved to Ancaster at the age of fourteen. I am almost finished my post-secondary degree, I major in English and have taken many courses in Psychology (with a particular focus on Child Development) and I have also have completed one year of Teacher's College (in the Concurrent program) and one year of Educational Support as well. Thus, I have access to and knowledge of curriculum plans, educational materials such as books and games and I am comfortable tutoring your children as well as keeping them entertained throughout the day.
I am an only child and live with my parents and my dog. I absolutely love working with children, and along with that, I am crazy about dogs, cats, and all animals. I enjoy both at home activities like reading and swimming, as well as outings and day trips. I am organized and creative, and I am also a pretty good cook and pride myself on my self taught nutritional knowledge.
