I am a recent graduate of the University of Victoria, where I completed a bachelors degree in biology. I will be starting nursing school at Langara in September, however the months before I will be completely free and willing to work full-time to save for nursing school. I've been babysitting/nannying for about 8 years now and have a younger sister whose now 14 so have a lot of experience with kids. I'm very active and love the outdoors, as well as doing fun arts and crafts and different activities with kids inside. Throughout my four years in university I nannied for two families with toddlers, picked them up from school, helped with school assignments, took them to soccer practice, library, beach, and cooked for them, etc. So I truly know how much attention and constant activity toddlers need! I also have extensive experience in tutoring and engaging kids in learning as I was a volunteer and coordinator of Let's Talk Science at my university. I also have a lot of experience with house work, and cooking, since all of my past nanny positions required housekeeping. I've also been living on my own for a 5 years now and know the importance of a clean space. For many years I have done housekeeping for my dad as he is a single parent.
