    My mother worked as a grade one teacher, I volunteered in her class through out the year doing various activities and helping with the Reading Recovery program. I have babysat on numerous occasions, children between the ages of newborn to 10 years old.

    For the past year and a half I have been nannying two toddler boys, one family is expecting another baby so they no longer need me as the mother will be on maternity leave. Daily activities include:

    • Get kids ready for the day
    • Prepare and feed breakfast and lunch
    • Engage in activities
    • Taking children to beaches and playgrounds
    • Assisting with language acquisition and development
    • Teaching letters, numbers, and colors
    • Teaching manners and other socially appropriate behaviour
    • Doing arts and crafts
    • Reading books
    • Take to music,art and sport classes
    • Organizing and cleaning children's play area
    • Cleaning up in the kitchen

    Previous to that I did after school care for an eight year old boy for three years
