I am a passionate nursing student who is eager to gain experience in a care aide position where I can work with wonderful individuals and families to assist in any way I am needed. I have plenty of experience in cleaning and all the experience I have gained through the nursing program at Douglas College. I am a registered care aide.

My experience with older care involves the experience I have gained through nursing school. I have worked in long term geriatric care unit as well as elder clients throughout the rest of the program. I am well trained in assisting or performing activities of daily living and medication administration.

My experience was during my clinical practicum in the nursing program where I worked on a long term geriatric care unit as well as a medical surgical unit where the majority of my patients were elderly.

There is currently no restrictions or constraints that would hold me back from any type work related to caring for the elderly.
