Hi, I am Katie and I understand that kids need someone fun and interesting to spend their time with. I greatly enjoy cooking and baking, playing guitar and ukulele, and knitting. I have extensive experience with caring for children as well as leading exciting games, crafts, and songs. In school, I took two years of German so that I can speak the language in simplest form.
My philosophy on taking care of children is that I am there to make sure that the children, or child, is having fun and learning while also knowing they are safe and loved. Having the opportunity to look after a child and watch him/her grow and mature in character excites me, and I hope for the chance to do so. In caring for a child, I understand the importance of structure and routines in a child's daily life and try to adapt my approach to the child's needs. I recognize that every child is different and must be treated as an individual.
