My name is Maya and I am an 18 year old university student looking for a full time care job during the summer where I will be able to work with kids between the ages of 4-13. I have over 3 years of experience working with children, especially in the pool environment. Having been a competitive swimmer for 8 years, I ended up coaching for the Etobicoke Swim Club's summer swim camp for two years, and well as coaching for their Intro to Competitive Swimming program in 2013-2014. As well, I worked as an Assistant Swim Instructor for younger children with MC Aquatics. Previously, I have had 2-3 years babysitting for various family and friends. In terms of qualifications, I am National Lifeguard Pool certified, as well as Standard First Aid, CPR, and AED certified. I have also undergone Red Cross Babysitting Training. I love to read, write, do crafts and bake, as well as spend time outdoors, which are all activities I know kids enjoy. I love to work with kids and be able to watch them grow and develop over the time I am able to spend with them.
