Working with children is one of my passions in life. In the past I have worked as a babysitter, camp counselor, nanny and in an elementary school setting. Past employers have described me as patient, reliable, calm, humorous, and creative. I have worked privately with families and have aided in making meals, feeding, diapering and other personal care, field trips to Science World, Granville Island, parks, and libraries. I have had the opportunity to see many children grow and learn while having fun and exploring with them. Certifications include current First Aid and CPR, FoodSafe and I have taken a university level child development course. My greatest values in working with children include respect for people and the environment, practicing empathy and creativity and having fun.
