    I am from Vanderhoof BC, and have lived in Vancouver for 6 years now while attending UBC. I graduate last year from the Faculty of Education and now work as an elementary school teacher. I am very passionate about child development and speech, so I completed my Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in speech sciences and received a certificate in infant and child supported development. I have experience working with a wide range of ages, from 12months to 13 years old. I have worked as a program coordinator for an after school care centre where I gained experience not only working with kids but in planning fun, engaging and creative activities. I try my best to encourage learning at any opportunity and I like to find out what works best for each individual child as no two children are the same.
