My name is Jessica and I am in my fifth and final year of university at UBCO, graduating with a bachelor's degree in elementary education in June. Some of my passions include working with kids, spending time outdoors, nutrition, dancing, baking/cooking, and music. One of my most recent accomplishments in the child care field was last Summer travelling to Australia where I was an au pair for a family with 4 children for 4 months. . I was responsible for helping get the children ready in the morning, caring for the two younger children during the day, helping at meal times and bed time, and providing a fun and safe environment for the kids. My other child related work experience includes teaching dance for 2 years for students ranging between 3 and 16 years old, Summer nanny for 2 children ages 4 and 7, helping teach Sunday school and nursery at my church, and volunteering as a big sister for Big Brothers Big Sisters.
