Hi my name is Laura.
I was born and raised in Saskatchewan, Canada on a ranch. I grew up with all kinds of animals including horses, cows, dogs, and cats. I was a very active person all through my school years. I was in many clubs mostly all sports and band. My high school and post secondary job was being a lifeguard. I was a supervisor/instructor which meant I taught lessons full time to all ages and was responsible for the guards on shift.
I attended Olds College where I was a member of the Women's Varsity Basketball team, where we were two years undefeated champions. I learned a lot of discipline, dedication, and communication being a part of that program.
My interest's include reading, being outdoors, barrel racing, and drinking coffee by the water.
I have been around young children all my life and I am happy to say I am a new aunt of a one month old baby girl. I am comfortable with all children regardless of age or sex.
