Hello there. I am an outgoing nanny with 5+ years experience, in addition to having my certificate from Camosun College as a Community Support and Education Assistant. I have worked in a daycare but much prefer being able to give more individualized attention to the children I nanny. You form much closer attachments and are able to influence their development in a significant manner while experiencing the joy of seeing them flourish and learn through the magic of play. I love working with kids and am currently taking care of an energetic adorable 2.5 year old little girl named Sophie. We have become quite close and enjoy our daily adventures together, unfortunately her family’s situation has changed and I will be looking for a new little one to take care of As soon as possible. I believe that children learn best through play and a variety of activities---and from being outdoors and exploring nature in particular. In addition to this, I accompany Sophie to My Gym, Splitz Gymnastics and periodically other programs such as Creative Play, Dance etc. at the local Community Centers. We also weekly go to Swimming, a variety of parks and take advantage of local Library and Strong Start programs. I am described as a fun and bubbly personality with an arsenal of silly songs that I will belt out with my toddler partner in crime on a daily basis. At the same time I am very responsible and safety conscious and will treat your child with care and concern.
