My name is Rachel Copeland, I am a twenty year old student who is currently enrolled in the English program at Ryerson University. I live in Toronto currently for school, Richmond Street East and Sherbourne. I recently came across this site and was hoping to apply for a nannying job of the perfect fit. I understand the pressure of finding the perfect person to watch over your children and take the best possible care of them.
I babysit for a family of two children, two girls being of the ages of three and eleven months old, I continued on to babysit for them for the past two years. The parents unfortunately separated, and I helped as much as possible to make the transition easier on both the children and the mother. Throughout those two years I grew quite attached to the two girls as I had the honour of watching them grow up and experience new phases of their lives. Due to my schooling and the mothers lessening need for help, I no longer babysit as frequently as I used to for them. I now babysit occasionally for a family from my hometown of Oakville, with two children, the boy being thirteen years of age and the girl to be eleven.

A little bit about myself is that I have two amazing parents and a step dad along with two stepsisters. I have a brother and a sister of my own who are in university as well. I graduated high school as an honour student and obtained a CPR certificate in grade nine. I am an outgoing person who loves to read and write, I love to travel and be active throughout the day. I helped my former employers with caring for the children but also with drop offs and pick ups to after school activities. I also helped with cleaning and cooking and just doing small things around the house in order to make their lives a little easier. I am a kind, caring soul who wants nothing more than to bring happiness and comfort into the lives of those around me. Babysitting/nannying has been a large part of my life and I am very glad for the warmth it has left in my heart and the memories I was able to create and share with the children I looked after and the parents in which allowed me to.
