I was born and raised in Ontario, in French immersion schools, and moved to Montreal six years ago following a certificate in bakery arts downtown Toronto. I have worked both as a cook and housekeeper which allow me to make healthy meals and maintain home upkeep. I am a recent graduate of LaSalle College in Special Care Counseling. I have completed two internships, the latest being an educator for children with special needs from newborns to eight years old. The first was as a counselor and animator at a long-term care residence, focused on severe dementia and end of life care. Previously I was a camp counselor for children ages six to fifteen years old. I am adaptable, dependable, empathetic, and have an extensive understanding of human developmental milestones, needs, and goal-oriented activities. I also have a valid criminal check and am first aid certified. My availability is flexible and I can provide a range of child care services from recreational to creating and implementing an individualized intervention plan based on specific needs.
