Through my experiences as an Early Childhood Education student in my field placements at George Brown College, Ryerson University and in my position as a swimming instructor for the City of Toronto, I have built genuine relationships with children as well as their families. In addition, my placement and work experience has taught me the value of commitment, discipline, cooperation and responsibility which will help me excel in a childcare position.
My field placement has allowed me to gain experience caring for a wide range of children in addition to helping me develop various methods of behaviour guidance and planning educational activities and outings suited to the children's developmental stages.
I am currently enrolled in the Behavioural Science Technology advanced diploma program at George Brown College which provides an opportunity to study applied behaviour analysis and behavioural intervention. I have completed my Early Childhood Education diploma at George Brown College and my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Studies at Ryerson University.
