    I have been providing care for infants, children of all ages and elders for over 40 years! I am a high energy youngish! Grandmother to 5 littles, ages 12 years to 8 months. I have provided care professionally for several local families over the past 10 years. I am a Nature Nanny that strongly believes in fresh air outdoor learning, play and adventure. I raised my 4 children aboard my 60' sailing vessel cruising the pacific, home schooling sharing and teaching life skills along the way. I am a professional mariner and retired from the Canadian Coast Guard , where I was a Search and Rescue training specialist and crew member. I believe in teaching children how to do things for themselves, safely and confidently. Age appropriate, self care, fostering confidence, compassion, skill development and joy.
