Hello, my name is Sarah. I am a young, athletic, female in my mid twenties who is looking for some daytime work. I come from a large family, I am the youngest of six. The awesome part of that is that I have 14 nieces and nephews running around. I still, happily sit at the kids during family gatherings. In the evening I coach two swim groups for the Edmonton Keyano Swim Club, my swimmers are all aged 7-12. Swim coaching and working with kids in this age is my passion; but I am looking for a little extra work, preferably that ends before 2pm, Monday- Friday.
I am a very active person who does not enjoy sitting around. I love doing anything outside, including walking through the river valley, going to the zoo, and swimming etc. When I do need some downtime I enjoy knitting, crocheting, doing crafts, and baking. If I had to describe myself in 3 words I would say I am happy, active, and organized.
As I am a certified swim coach and red cross swim instructor I would be willing to take the kids to the pool a few times a week. My philosophy when teaching swimming is having fun while learning; so I am a big fan of "games with aims"; the kids think they are just playing games; meanwhile they are learning how to move through the water. I would also love to do crafts with the kids (its my excuse to do childish crafts that I still enjoy doing myself. ). I am also certified in Standard First aid and CPR-C.
