** Willing and Able to complete 20 hours of Responsible Adult Training if required.

I worked with the YMCA as a summer camp counselor for 5-10 year old children. In addition to supervising the children, I organized the daily activities and meals. I had to learn to adapt activities to meet the children needs since the campers ranged from the average learner to Autistic. Other responsibilities include daily parent updates, conflict resolution and providing first Aid. I have Standard First Aid and am Infant CPR trained. I am knowledgeable and capable to handle the responsibility that caring for children requires. In University I have accumulated credits in Education. The topics that were covered involve childhood development, learning diversity, behavioral issues and teaching techniques. My education provides me with the understanding of developmentally and age appropriate behavior and skills. This provides me with the knowledge to appropriately plan activities for children. I've also accumulated 10 years of volunteer work focusing on children. my volunteer work varies from children with disabilities to public family events. I've also worked with infants to grade schoolers.
