Hi! My name is Carly. Originally from Hamilton, Ontario, I've spent the last three years in Vancouver going to theatre school at Studio 58. I just graduated in December and I'm excited to re-enter the real world equipped with what I learned in school about community, perseverance and imagination. I love reading, writing and drawing and my favourite sports are volleyball, basketball and baseball. I love creating something from nothing whether that be storytelling or arts and crafts and I believe that you're never too old to learn something new. I enjoy the outdoors and I am just starting to explore what beautiful British Columbia has to offer. I love to travel and hope to one day drive across Canada.

Three Exciting Things About ME
-I recently got engaged.
-This past Christmas, you might have seen me in the East Van Panto at the York Theatre - I played the squirrel!
-I lived in England for a year

I don't have any formalized childcare training as of yet.

Most of my experience with childcare comes through theatre. During the East Van Panto, there were children's chorus members and I assisted in monitoring them backstage during rehearsals and performance. During my university studies, I participated in a Theatre in Education Program where we visited primary schools and taught the students about opera in an accessible & fun way. Lastly, I have coached and assistant coached many sports teams over the years.

There are no constrictions or constraints to the type of work I am able to do.
