I am an enthusiastic and responsible 20 year old girl looking to work as a babysitter or nanny for the summer until September, with possibility to continue into the school year if I plan to stay in Vancouver.

My childcare experience started at the age of 13 when I began routinely babysitting for family friends, neighbours and acquaintances. I have done this ever since. I also worked at an after-school daycare (for ages 2-10 years) during my last years of high school. This position included taking care of the children, organizing activities, crafting, playing outside, making snacks, cleaning up, etc.

During the past two years in Vancouver, I have been nannying part time for various families and enjoyed it thoroughly! Being able to spend time with kids everyday in the afternoons and really getting to know them is something I always looked forward to. As a nanny I regularly picked up kids from kindergarten or school and took them home safely, prepared snacks, helped with homework, played exciting new games and organised fun activities and outings! I am very comfortable around most pets.

I come from an international background; I was born in Sweden to Canadian/Estonian parents and I grew up mainly in Belgium. In summer 2014 I moved to Vancouver to pursue my studies at UBC.

In my free time I enjoy yoga, swimming, going to the beach and recently I have gotten into cycling as well. I also love trying out new recipes, spending a lot of time in the kitchen! I play the guitar and piano, and have a passion for photography, film and travel.

My schedule is open at the moment, so I am quite flexible with times.
