Hello,
My name is Lauren , I am a 26 year old drama masters student who is currently finishing up her thesis. I was born in South Africa, but have been living in Canada since 2008. My husband is Canadian.
I don't have children yet, however, my mother ran a pediatric ward in South Africa where I looked after children of all ages at least 3 days a week.
I am a highly creative individual, love being outdoors, coming up with creative activities, reading, music, sport and swimming.
I am a highly organized and personable individual who loves children- teaching them, looking after them and helping them with their day to day needs and experiences. I have worked with children in many different settings:
- volunteering in a pediatric ward in South Africa (age 0-17)
- teaching children at orphanages(age 0-17)
- creating and teaching summer camps (age 5-17)
- teaching drama lessons (age 5-15)
- tutoring (13-18)
I am currently looking for a job where I can look after children and co ordinate their day time activities, excursions etc. I have my own car and am looking to start work in the mornings and end some time in the early afternoon.
