Hi there! My name is Kat. I am a fun-loving nanny and swimming instructor/lifeguard with 6 years experience working with children. I am currently looking for a full or part-time nanny position. I enjoy spending time with children of all ages, helping them learn and play in a safe and controlled environment. Availability:

• Monday - Friday 6am-2pm permanent childcare (flexible)
• Saturday - Sunday: Casual childcare

Experience/Certifications:

• 6 years experience teaching/caring for children of all ages, alone as well as in groups of 2-12 at a time
• 3 years experience caring for my nephews, ages 1 and 3.
• Water Safety Instructor (swimming instructor, all levels and abilities) - currently certified through Canadian Red Cross
• Lifeguard (First Aid with CPR-C and AED) - currently certified through National Lifesaving Society
• Criminal Record Check - clean and current within 6 months
• Vehicle/Driver's License - I have a safe, insured vehicle with 5 seats in total, and a full license (clean Driver's Abstract from ICBC available)

Skills/Interests:

• Teaching everyday self-safety in all environments, especially water (Red Cross swimming lessons available upon request)
• Teaching swimming skills through songs, games, and discovery
• Helping with homework (I achieved high grades in high school and university, and love to problem solve and learn new things)
• Languages (excellent knowledge of the English language, 1 year university level French, 5 years high school level German)
• Sports/activities (swimming, running, hiking, biking, basketball, soccer, and more)
• Cooking healthy, fun meals and snacks (experience with vegan, gluten-free, and sugar-free recipes)
• Trying new things (I can easily adapt to learning about and participating any interest/hobby)

Preferred specifications:

I have allergies including but not limited to pets and cigarette smoke. These allergies are well-controlled, however I would prefer to spend time in a smoke-free home.
