I am a young, outgoing, and active individual. I have a passion for children and love keeping their minds working. Outings and creative activities are always a favourite when with children.
I like to stay busy and hate being bored; I think this is why I love children so much-they always keep you on the go.
I come from a very large and ever-growing Italian-Canadian family. I have grown up with family members of all ages. I believe that any guardian (a parent, caregiver, etc. ) needs to adapt their style to suit the child's needs and personality. I feel that positive reinforcement is always beneficial; however, in the case that this isn't working, a simple time out or temporary removal of a privilege is added to aid the positive reinforcement.
A calm and relaxed voice, tone, and body is always used with misbehaviour. A heightened state in the person of authority will only lead to a heightened situation.
