My name is Emma and I have always lived on PEI. My family consists of my mother, my sister and myself. I had moved to Charlottetown to do some courses in the Early Childhood Education Program this year and plan on returning to them again in the fall. During the summer for the past three years I worked with the Canadian Red Cross as a swimming instructor, it is a great passion of mine and it is something that I enjoy and take pride in. I worked with children ages 5-13 across the island with my team members. I have also taught swimming lessons at the Rodd Mill River Aquaplex for two years in the winter. My other hobbies other than teaching swimming lessons includes reading, crafts and arts.
My qualifications are:
-First Aid/Level C
-Water Safety Instructor
-Airway Managment
-Bronze Medallion/Cross
-40 Volunteer Hours at the West Royalty Early Years Center
I am a very outgoing and positive person. I am able to adapt to my situation and act on an impulse in a fast moving environment. Safety is a priority to those around me. Creativity is something that I like to express and share and I will put everything I have into my work.
