My name is Carly. I am 28-years-old, and a born-and-raised Vancouverite. I am nearing the end of my studies at Capilano University in the field of Early Childhood Care & Education, with a specialization in Infant/Toddler care. I have been employed as a Nanny both full-time and part-time for the past 10 years, and have primarily worked with newborns, infants and toddlers. I am a passionate caregiver; one who values reciprocity in my relationships with children and families, nurturing young children's capabilities and curiosities, and encouraging the exploration, co-constructing and meaning-making of the world around us between myself and the children within my care. I can offer glowing references from the families in which I have nannied for in the past; many of which I have ongoing relationships with.

I am seeking long-term (minimum 1-year) full-time employment in a Nanny-Share with two families beginning as early as the first week of July (Ideally, two families who have already established a share-agreement between themselves). I am available between the hours of 7:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, 40/hrs per week. My rate begins at $26 per hour for 2 children, up to a maximum of 3 children for $30 per hour; as per my previous field-related experience in childcare, academic qualifications (ECCE/IT Diploma) and applicable certifications (First Aid/CPR & Food Safe).

I live in the West End of Downtown, so I do have a preference for families who require care within this area, or within reasonable cycling distance (Mount Pleasant, Kits, Fairview, Olympic Village) as my main modes of transportation are by foot, bicycle and bus.
