First and foremost, I am a mom to 2 beautiful little girls. My oldest has a complicated medical history and with a great deal of patience and therapy, has managed to surpass all expectations.

I take great pride in the volunteer work I do with the Stollery and within AHS as an presenter, advisor and family mentor. I advocate for family centred care and was recently recognized for 4 years of being a champion of this philosophy. I believe in caring for a family unit, rather than a person alone, and that the idea should flow to every aspect of life. People are more than what they may appear and should be considered on every level of their being.

I am a passionate and loyal person, who genuinely loves and cares about others. I think children need to be nurtured and protected in order to thrive. I want to continue to be a support for children and their families as long as I am able.
