Hello! I'm a 30 year old woman currently completing my Masters in Counselling Psychology, en route to becoming a marriage and family counsellor. I love kids, family dynamics, and helping people problem solve. I have a good sense of humour, am creative, fun, and thoughtful, and enjoy the outdoor lifestyle Vancouver offers (l was born and raised here with the exception of 7 years in Montreal for my Undergrads in English and Psychology). I can cook and clean (won't ruin your whites or shrink your Knits), can run a myriad of errands (from gift shopping to picking up dry cleaning), and am good at getting people from A to B in a timely and safe manner (whether it's the kids to hockey practice or the grandparents to doctors appointments). If you need help booking flights, finding a guy to fix something in the house, or want me to type up a letter I can also be a pseudo Personal Assistant (I've worked in offices before and I'm resourceful). My schedule at the moment is very flexible: I'm only busy on Tuesday afternoons. I'm happy to help out with the kids, house, and general organization on a temporary or longer term basis. I can come at regular times and also on short notice (if you need a baby sitter for a date night!). I look forward to meeting your family :)

When I was a kid I had a learning disability, so I know what it's like to struggle with school. If you have kids that are having trouble in school, whether that's academically or socially, I know and I remember how hard that can be for a kid (and also for the family), so I'd like to believe I can help them find a way to navigate their brains and manage their emotions. Being a kid is tough when you're different.
