I am a french exchange student from Paris in the Faculty of Arts at the University of British Columbia and I would like to apply as a part-time baby-sitter. My experience in baby-sitting has startedt five years ago and since then I have never stopped it. Being the oldest of a large family, I have always had to know how to take care of and entertain small children, but baby-sitting was another step as I had to adapt myself to every family’s rules and expectations as well as to understand every children’s own personnality, which I like a lot because I find it very challenging. As a scout leader I have also learned to manage groups and interactions between different children, and to pass my first-aid formation. I am perfectly fluent in english and I can properly use german. I firmly believe in open-mindedness and I take a comprehensive approach to interacting with kids. Furthermore I am very patient and I can baby-sit every evening of the week with no restriction.
