I just moved back to Canada after 5 years of international work experience and now my fiancé and I are settling back in the Lower Mainland area. Just recently over the last year, I had a very exciting opportunity to teach English in Dubai. The kids and staff were from all over the Middle East and as result, working for the Canadian school, I had the honor in representing the school as senior teacher. I spent the year teaching English while incorporating educational themes and units and as an end result & goal all of the kids were able to communicate in English. While I was living in Sydney, Australia I was employed through a social service program contracted out to families who needed support at challenging times. I was there to guide families through counsel & support and found it to be a rewarding work experience. Other social service experiences; group work, mental health, addictions, counselling, youth work, child care.

In between my child care and social service work, I secured a job on private Luxury Yachts managing the interior working independently and as a team. Managing the yacht included managing/preparing; work day, full inventory of yacht & ordering high end and custom made materials, yacht trip activity itinerary, facilitating 5 star service 24/7 while guests onboard, preparing 5 start breakfast/lunch/dinner, and help with interior design.

On top of my social service, teaching, nanny, Luxury Yacht work experiences, while attending the Douglas College: Community Social Service Worker Diploma program, I spent several years as a Customer Service Representative at an established fitness club which helped me develop my clerical, computer, client service and organizational skills. Each job has taught me exceptional work ethic & skills that I am lucky to have experienced and obtained.

I can commit to one year full time then we can consider part time if you want (based on the fact that I will return to finish my degree in teaching in September 2015).
