I just completed my second year of studies at St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia. I am currently working towards getting a degree in Environmental Engineering as I am very passionate about sustainability and the environment. Aside from my studies, I have a great interest in fine art. My main focus is mostly towards drawing and painting, but I am always up to trying new things that allow me to express my creative abilities. I enjoy reading, watching movies and listening to music. I have previously been enrolled in piano lessons, and continue to enjoy practicing as a hobby. I enjoy baking and discovering new recipes to try out in the kitchen. During the summer I love taking part in any outdoor activities, whether it be bike riding, hiking, swimming, camping or just going for walks.
I thoroughly enjoy children. I have experience babysitting children of family friends as well as my own younger cousins. I was responsible for making them snacks, keeping them busy with different games and activities and occasionally putting them to bed. During high school I volunteered with KidsAbility where I worked with children with disabilities and helped them learn the basics of balance and agility. This was done through various sports and activities such as learning how to bounce a basketball or helping them complete different obstacles. I found this experience taught me a lot about responsibility, leadership and communication.
I am very friendly, outgoing and always enjoy meeting new people.
