    When I started at Brennan Park as a recreation program leader I was asked to take over a soccer program that the previous instructor had been leading for close to 20 years. I could have seen this as an obstacle, but what I saw was opportunity. While it was a huge learning curve to transfer my previous coaching skills to a younger age group, I ended up running extremely successful parent and tot programs, as well as classes for preschool age and 5-8 year olds. Teaching soccer has now become one of my favourite aspects of my job.

    Their creativity and imagination inspires me to do this work. I love being outdoors and feel that this is an environment where children thrive the best. I'm also a big kid at heart and enjoy being around their positive and fun energy.
