My name is Darcy , I will be 23 years old in April. I have always loved working with children and youth. I have been fighting for the rights of children and youth since I was 13, and have loved every minute of it. I have worked at a Daycare as well, where I worked one on one with an amazing young boy who struggle with a learning disability. It was an amazing experience, and I loved every minute of it. Because of my love with working with children and youth, I decided to get a diploma in Child & Youth Worker Advanced Diploma Program at St. Lawrence College in Brockville. After my two year program, I went to Serbia. I spent ten months in Serbia where I coached and mentored children and youth about hockey. The children aged from 5-18 years old, I taught them to skate, I helped them understand how to play hockey. I also got the opportunity to teach them a little of the English language. I still to this day stay in touch with many of the children and youth, as well as the coaches.
I am a very hard worker and will make the lives of anyone's children top priority. I will always put their safety and happiness first. I am a very capable cook as well with lots of experience, and love for cooking. I am a decent handy man as well should it be needed. I have a valid G1 license, and will be obtaining my G2 and hopefully a vehicle within the next few months.
