Community support worker or group home support Application Dear sir/Madame, I am submitting this letter to apply to a position of Community support Worker within your organisation. I have several years experience working with people with disabilities. I have worked with different clients including youth, adults and seniors. Some clients were in retirement or community home. They had different needs from independent people, behavioural support to personal care support. I improved my ability to work with an interdisciplinary team, and also developed interpersonal skills and strong professional relationships with clients. In my work I have acquired a thorough understanding of the seniors, the mental disabilities and specific need and how to address them. My duties have included providing personal care, emotional and social support to clients, in the form of one-on-one counselling as well as group therapy; developing and overseeing treatment plans for clients; working with their families, medication administration, house hold activities and community involvement. My duties included as well the daily reports, medication administration records, individualised intervention plans elaboration, their implementation and follow up.
