Dear Sir or Madam, I have successful completion of levels 1 and 2 of the Practical Nursing program at Algonquin College and obtained certificates in First-Aid and CPR. I speak English, French and Spanish (mother tongue). Through my clinical practice, I have assisted clients with their activities for daily living within a long term care facility while helping them maintain independence and dignity. I also possess excellent judgment and tact and proven interpersonal skills combined with problem-solving/analytical skills when addressing multicultural issues. Please note that my current schedule is quite flexible and would accommodate a variety of day, evening and/or week-end shifts. I am also trained in assisting patients in their daily activities such as sitting, walking, bathing, grooming, feeding and transferring. During my field placements I have also gained the experience in managing bedside and other aspects of personal hygiene. Since I have always loved helping people in need, and nothing gives me as much pleasure other than assisting someone who has lost his disability.
