    I have 3 year old nephew in Japan. Before I came to Canada, I took care of him. I also worked in a 24-hour daycare centre for children in Japan for over 1 year so I know that I really enjoy children and caring for them. Then I heard about the Live-in Caregiver Program and I believe this opportunity combines my love for Canada with my love for children. I was studying at TLC Edmonton: Training for Live-in Caregivers. I graduated from this school end of January 2015. So, I can work as soon as possible. There were classroom-based, 7 month training program where I learn about Nutrition, Safety, CPR/First Aid, Communication, Child Development and Guiding Young Children, as well as other subjects. I also assist at a childcare and a senior centre so I have an opportunity to apply my theoretical knowledge in a practical way.
