    Hello! I am a life long casual child care provider with experience caring for children 18mo to 14yrs. I carry with me the happy experience of a certain unnameable charm that quickly helps me create an easy rapport with tiny humans.
    My relationships with youth are generally built on mentorship, respect, and logical boundaries rather than rote discipline and I enjoy unraveling the unique traits that make each child special. I believe in cultivating rich, age appropriate, experiences for children to explore the world around them and their role within it. Most importantly, I love to engage imaginations and find teachable moments in everyday activities.
    My career lies in the realm of community change/energy management and creating opportunities for youth leadership.
    My care related experience includes work as a babysitter, full time live in nanny, executive board member of a local youth support centre, youth mentorship advocate, and founder of an educational engagement network for young people to engage in Northern public policy.
    I have recently relocated to Vancouver after a decade in the Yukon and am currently seeking a part time helper situation in the Mt. Pleasant area.
