My name is Kayanna and I am currently a student at McGill, studying political sciences and languages. I am currently working on German and Dutch. For several years I kayaked for team Quebec and was fairly successful. I was also nationally ranked in some distances. For about three years now I have stopped training competitively to concentrate on school. I still exercise regularly mostly biking, jogging and swimming.
My love for children brought me to the Netherlands where I worked as an au-pair for a lovely Dutch family with two young boys. I enjoyed the responsibility and the satisfaction of having a positive impact in their daily lives. I really enjoyed seeing their progress with English and their increased ability to speak in two languages. The family was extremely welcoming and we had quite a lot of fun all together.
The trip also allowed me to learn about a new culture and the language that goes along with it. I made many friends from around the world which makes our conversations so interesting, I am always learning something new. Travelling is an interest of mine, everything about it.
I am a responsible and mature student and I enjoy being around young children, helping them discover the world and entertain them with new experiences. I am looking for new families for an occasional schedule
