    While growing up in the states, I always volunteered or worked with children mainly through summer camps and babysitting. As I entered university for a degree in math education, I started tutoring and mentoring children of all ages (K-12). I moved to Vancouver in August of 2014 to obtain my masters in math education from UBC. While doing this, I started working at a private alternative school where I was able to work with many children of all ages and levels in many different environments.
