Hello, My name is Kristina. I have recently moved to Ladysmith from the Fraser Valley and am in love with the natural beauty that everywhere here. I have been a community health worker 2 for the past 6 years with mostly long term clients with various needs. I enjoy working with people and love making people smile :). I am getting married in September and looking for a long term full time career but am not opposed to short term or part time. I have always enjoyed caring for people and try to think of what type of care I myself would like to receive, what type of care is like my mother or grandmother to receive. I am in my 30's and have my entire teenage years and most of my 20's doing childcare and I would enjoy this work as well :). In high school I spent 3 years candystriping at Langley Hospital, I was a Sparks/Brownie leader for 7years. My first paying job was life guarding for girl guide summer camps and teaching swimming lessons. I am registered and in good standing with the BC Care Aid Registry. I try to always find the positive in any situation and enjoy thinking outside the box. I enjoy cooking and make my own spiced mustard and zuchinni relish. I have recently started gardening and am enjoying the tranquility and sense of accomplishment from growing my own vegetables and fruits. I live with my fiancé and our 3 cats.
