Hi, my name is Lia and I am very interested in finding full time work this summer (July-september) working with children. I am currently finishing my fourth year in the concurrent education (teaching) program at Wilfrid Laurier University. In addition to this educational program, I was a nanny in summer 2014 and have been involved in babysitting anywhere from 1-7 children during the past 7 years, volunteering for various children programs, and working at summer camps. I love children and caring for them. Children have so much to learn, they just soak everything up and I want to provide new experiences and learning opportunities for them. I live in the Wyoming area but I have a vehicle and am willing to commute up to half an hour. I do not smoke, am very comfortable with pets and have First Aid certification and a Police Background Check.
I am excited about being involved in the community and living a healthy lifestyle. I play various sports such as volleyball, soccer and basketball. I take pleasure in spending time outside whether it be camping, hiking, or just taking a walk. Family and friends are very important to me and I enjoy travelling and learning about many places and cultures with them. I am very outgoing and eager to experience new opportunities for new experiences and challenges.
