    Hello there. My name is Maris and I am a student at the University of Victoria. I am the oldest of three and value family very much. I am currently in the Elementary Education Program. My passion is working with children and I have much experience in the are of child care. This past summer I was at a coordinator for summer camps for children with learning disabilities and/or ADHD. The previous summer I also worked with children and youth. I have worked with children in some capacity from under a year to 17 years of age. Volunteering is something that is very close to my heart and I have had the opportunity to volunteer in a variety of ways. I have had experience working in an orphanage in Mexico and building a school in Kenya. I am a compassionate, caring and considerate person who loves to go on adventures.
